Bypassing the need for willpower to get to the gym

Really cool, real world result of seeing that my experience works inside out…


I’ve become a regular and consistent gym go-er, and when I’m there I achieve way beyond what I previously thought was possible. Which is pretty cool in itself and also recently afforded me the pleasure of scaling Scotland’s northmost Munro on legs that are stronger than ever before.


Maybe you’re thinking Katy must have good willpower? Willpower doesn’t come into it at all, in fact it’s honestly pretty effortless. Unless I’m actually physically too sick to go, I go because it makes sense. I no longer use my feeling state as a navigation or decision making tool. If I thought my feelings were telling me about whether it’s a good idea to go to the gym, I’d skip at least half of my regular gym mornings, and I’d beat myself up for it too.


So



In case you’re wondering where this is coming from… Over the last couple of years I’ve been looking in the direction of where my experience comes from and waking up to the possibility that what I’ve taken as reality is actually just what I’m doing with the power of Thought.


The results have been completely life changing. I thought I’d start sharing snippets of what that actually looks like through real world examples. Hopefully I’ve done that with the above.
